Sudden Strike 2 - Soviet Assault
First mission in Soviet Campaign of Sudden Strike 2 Sorry for the bad videoquality my Sony Vegas is making some problems (and my videocard doesnt work and i had total lags while making it :P) Gamedescription: Sudden Strike 2 was developed by Russian developer Fireglow and published by CDV and was released in 2002. The campaign involves the Soviets and Allies, against the Germans and a new country, Japan. While striving for historical accuracy, the missions are mostly fiction. The American missions are in the Rhine regions and tend to involve 'borrowing' war equipment from the German army rather than using their own tanks and other weapons. The British missions revolves around the actual events at Wolfheze and Arnhem and the attempted capture of the bridge. The Japanese missions are centered along the lines of tropical jungle warfare and the use of tanks is somewhat limited whereas the Soviet campaign is based on the capture of the city of Kharkov and other battles along the Dniepr river waged by the Soviet Red Army. Panzer Elite Campaign #2 part4
Now that we have broken the Paratrooper's momentum and forced them to dig in, now its our turn to attack! Time to build an attack force and remove the Paratroopers one drop zone at a time. Yet another tutorial mission and the medal is very easy. Simply hunt and kill all the snipers, they even mark where they are on the compass. I doubt you can really fail this mission.
Panzer Elite Campaign #1 part1
My great project that is the Panzer Elite campaign has begun. As you can tell I am having to use alot of editing to make up for the poorer quality of the vanilla edit of the campaign. Anyways I may not be accurate on this description, but Kampfgruppe Lehr is a mish-mash fire brigade unit. Formed from various divisions that got destroyed after Normandy. You'll be seeing SS, Wehrmacht, and Luftwaffe ground units operating within this Kampfgruppe and given what it is its not surprising. We all know the SS did horrible things but the SS under my command I can assure you will not be committing any crimes. Least they better not :-P. My task is defeating the enemy not worry about politics or idealogies. In this first mission it can get quite hectic though its still mostly a training mission as most early missions are. The British will be attacking and dropping Paratroopers all over the place but the part where the medal comes into play will be when the Jeeps start showing up. You need plenty of AT squads with Panzershrecks (At least 3 squads with 2 schrecks minimum IMO) collected from the map to ensure that no Jeep escapes. Once you take out every single Jeep, the medal is yours.
